Here is my double page half done i decided to change my text layout as i got feedback that it wasn't the clearest it could be and it looked abit plain and boring. From this image i then added my own photo and it really didnt look that good with the jagged edge design so i had to change my whole design my next post will be showing the new design of my double page spread.

I am analyzing this fron cover because it relates to the same genre as mine. I really like the clear and simplenes of this cover although simple i believe this cover is very effective.It gets its point across however i not completely clear on what the magazine is about , if i was to redesign this cover i would make it more clear on what the magazine is actually about.

Target audience for my magazine

These are what the target audience for my magazine will look like young trendy and really into their fashion.I believe i can target my magazine at this audience by advertising in places that they may shop or do day to day things. For example i could advertise in Topman,Hollister and House Of Fraser. I could also advertise online on websites like Youtube Facebook or Myspace.

Initial Music Magazine Ideas

The working title i have chosen to use for my music magazine is "BeatZ" I decided to use this title because my magazine is going to be about upbeat club music and has lots os "Beats" in it.

The first demographic i looked at was age. I decied to aim my magazine at 18-26 year olds because they are the types of people that can actually go to clubs and listen to this kind of music i also feel there is a gap in the market for this type of magazine. The gender i am aiming at is Male because they are the people that are more likely to like this genre of music.The magazine will have alot of advertisement for things such as Razors,Cars and Video Games.The magazine will be based in England.

I have looked at the physcographic for my magazine in terms of the website "Uk Tribes".From this magazine i have found a few tribes that i think my magazine relates to:

The price of my magazine is goign to be around £1.50 as its not to cheap however its not to expensive there are no magazines on the market like mine so i feel with this price tag it could make a huge hit.

Cover I Like

I like this design because its plain but very effective the font is crisp and clear. And it uses a variation of colours to make it stand out.

I also like the design of this one because it looks like it’s had a lot of work doen to it and I like the edited look.
